It was pleasent day of September 1918, the World War I was in full swing, A British soldier named Henry Tandy was active with his weapon near the French village of Marching, and meanwhile he noticed that the German soldier was coming towards him.

Henry got more active and took his position to shoot the young soldier who belonged to his enemies army.

He and his country were fighting with the German that is why there was no chance for the German soldier that he could be saved.

Henry was about to shoot but suddenly he noticed that the soldier was wounded and had no weapon to fight.
Henry felt mercy upon him and said him to go by moving his gun.
German soldier was shocked because it was nothing but a miracle that his enemy did not shoot him and let him go.

Henry did not know that the man he is leaving will kill million of people and will also be remembered in history as Adolf Hitler.
Adolf Hitler who is still known to be one of the most dangerous and cruel person in history.
Once He was miserably standing at the gun point of Henry but after few years became the symbol of fear for his enemies.

Hitler played a key role in World War II. He killed million of people in the war.
Henry later told in an interview that if he had known the soldier would be this much cruel, he would never leave him alive.
Hitler also told this incident many times in different gatherings.

After all it was a biggest mistake committed by a soldier who had achieved many awards for his bravery in different wars from his country.

This is a different type of incident which which will always be the part of astonishing history.
